Alexander J. Perez
Alexander J. Perez has been practicing civil litigation for over 23 years, and has been involved in various complex litigation cases including representing hundreds of clients in joint coordinated proceedings and alternative dispute resolution actions arising from both the 1992 and 1996 Texaco Oil Refinery Explosions in Wilmington, CA. Mr. Perez was thereafter appointed global settlement administrator for over 4000 claimants by Plaintiff’s liaison counsel. He also represented the so called “ear-witness” in the OJ Simpson case, who allegedly “heard” the murders while walking his dogs in an alley across the street, generating numerous TV interviews on ‘Geraldo’, the Charles Grodin Show and on CNN with Greta Van Susteren.
More recently, Mr. Perez prosecuted a business dispute on behalf of the Russian River Resort (at that time the largest gay resort in Northern California) against internationally recognized restaurant and hotel consulting firm Clark Wolf LLC, and is currently co-lead counsel in the Reynolds Class Action alleging fraudulent business practices with respect to residential apartment security deposits by Shea Properties Management Co., a mutli-billion dollar landlord.
Mr. Perez received his B.A. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Kean University, NJ (1989), and his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco (1992)
Mr. Perez was admitted to practice in California (1993), New York (1994), and New Jersey (1996). He is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and American Association of Justice (AAJ).
