As we begin 2026, ACTS LAW is reflecting on a year that delivered meaningful impact, continued growth, and a renewed sense of purpose. Throughout 2025, our firm achieved historic results, strengthened our culture, and remained deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve. Looking back on the milestones that defined the past year, we carry that momentum forward with focus and determination into 2026.
ACTS LAW secured over $168 million in settlements and verdicts on behalf of clients across practice areas, highlighted by one of the most consequential resolutions in California history.

This year, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a historic $4 billion settlement resolving claims brought by more than 7,000 survivors of systemic sexual abuse in Los Angeles County juvenile detention facilities. ACTS LAW represents more than 1,500 of those survivors.
This resolution represents a meaningful step toward restorative justice for individuals who, as children who endured decades of abuse in institutions meant to protect them. We are honored to advocate for accountability, dignity, and long-overdue change on behalf of our clients.
This year also brought unprecedented wildfire challenges across Los Angeles, impacting families, neighborhoods, and entire communities. Like so many Angelenos, our team felt the effects firsthand. During these difficult times, ACTS LAW was proud to stand with homeowners navigating loss, disruption, and uncertainty—advocating for their rights and helping them move forward when it mattered most. Representing our community in moments like these reinforces our commitment to being there not only as trial lawyers, but as trusted advocates when people need support the most.
Founded by Danny Abir, Alexander Cohen, Boris Treyzon, and Rena Salo, ACTS LAW was built on a shared commitment to excellence, integrity, and client-centered advocacy. In 2025, that vision continued to scale.
Today, ACTS LAW is home to more than 40 attorneys and over 100 staff members, earning recognition as a top law firm in Los Angeles and a leading litigation firm nationwide. Our growth reflects not just size, but depth—of talent, collaboration, and impact.
Throughout 2025, ACTS LAW and its attorneys were recognized by respected legal publications and organizations for excellence in advocacy and leadership, including honors from the Daily Journal, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and the Los Angeles Times.
These recognitions underscore the caliber of our trial lawyers and the collective strength of our firm.

This year also marked the launch of ACTS LAW’s podcast, Behind the Courtroom, hosted by Danny Abir. The podcast offers a deeper look at the people and stories behind the legal profession—exploring careers, passions, and perspectives that extend beyond verdicts and settlements. He has hosted many famous guest stars including Dr. Terry Dubrow from Botched, Laker stars Robert Horry and Sasha Vujacic, and more. Watch here.
ACTS LAW attorneys continued to play an active role in legal education and thought leadership, speaking at conferences and programs nationwide. From CAALA Vegas and ABOTA Masters in Trial to CAOC events and medical-legal conferences, our team shared trial strategies, insights, and experience with peers across the profession.

Community involvement remained a cornerstone of our firm’s mission in 2025. ACTS LAW proudly supported wildfire relief efforts that helped serve hot meals to thousands of residents, sponsored legal and cultural organizations, and backed community events throughout Southern California.
These efforts reflect our belief that advocacy extends beyond litigation—it’s about showing up where support is needed most.

Our annual ACTS LAW holiday party was more than a celebration—it was a moment to pause and recognize the dedication of the attorneys, staff, and leadership who made 2025 possible. Coming together outside the courtroom allowed us to reflect on our shared successes, strengthen connections, and celebrate the culture that defines our firm.

As we head into 2026, ACTS LAW remains committed to fighting for justice, advancing trial advocacy, and building lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and communities. We are grateful for the trust placed in us in 2025 and look forward to continuing this work with renewed focus and momentum.
