Four ACTS LAW Attorneys Chosen as 2022 Super Lawyers Rising Stars

Four attorneys at ACTS LAW were selected as 2022 Super Lawyers California Rising Stars: David Bederman, Joseph Finnerty, Farid Golshani, and Michael Harutunian.

This is the fourth consecutive year Mr. Finnerty and Mr. Harutunian have been named Rising Stars, the third year in a row for Mr. Bederman, and the first time Mr. Golshani has been recognized with this honor.

David Bederman is an associate with the firm who handles business litigation, insurance bad faith, intellectual property, civil rights, and catastrophic personal injury cases. He was part of the team of attorneys that obtained a $7 million settlement in a construction defect case in 2021.

Joseph Finnerty is an associate with the firm whose practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, toxic tort, wrongful death, and civil rights. Mr. Finnerty has successfully represented clients against individuals, government entities and multi-billion-dollar companies. His practice is motivated by his desire to serve the community and protect consumers against injustice. Mr. Finnerty was part of the team that obtained a $5.75 million settlement in a traumatic brain injury case in 2021.

Farid Golshani is an associate with the firm, and his practice focuses on assisting property owners with recovering what is rightfully owed to them under their insurance policies. Mr. Golshani worked full time with the firm while attending Southwestern Law School’s part-time evening program. Thanks to his years of experience in the field, Mr. Golshani has amassed substantial experience in policy interpretation and coverage. He was a member of the team that obtained a $1.6 million settlement in an insurance bad faith case, as well as part of the team that obtained a $1.4 million settlement in a separate bad faith matter, both in 2021.

Michael Harutunian is an associate with the firm where he zealously fights on behalf of his clients to receive the maximum compensation available to them. Mr. Harutunian passionately advocates for his clients’ rights from the inception of the claim and continuing through litigation.
