Two children in afterschool care with Beyond the Bell were kidnapped from Lanai Road Elementary School in Encino. Instead of following proper procedure, staff at Beyond the Bell allowed a woman with a long history of psychiatric trauma and drug use to simply walk them out the door. Christa Ramey filed a government claim on behalf of the family, the first step in a lawsuit. The children have suffered serious psychological trauma resulting from this abduction, and the family is now attempting to take various forms of legal action to protect themselves and the kids.
