Lindsey Downey is an attorney at ACTS Law, specializing in insurance bad faith and professional liability litigation. Prior to joining ACTS Law, Lindsey dedicated her career to representing plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, securing over $28 million in settlements for clients in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. Her extensive litigation experience includes managing cases from inception through trial preparation and working closely with clients to develop strategies for optimal outcomes.
Lindsey’s commitment to justice extends to her community. She served on the Board of Directors for the West Ventura County Business Alliance for six years, helping to foster positive business and community growth. She has also mentored students as part of the Ventura County Mock Trial Competition and volunteered with Ventura County Legal Aid, providing critical guidance to underserved litigants.
In addition to her legal and volunteer work, Lindsey is an animal advocate with a focus on rescuing and rehabilitating dogs with behavioral challenges, giving them the care and training they need to thrive.
