Sara McClain is a Senior Associate with Abir Cohen Treyzon Salo, LLP. She focuses on insurance bad faith, coverage litigation, and business litigation. She also has considerable experience with personal injury, workers compensation, and professional liability. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McClain spent nearly a decade defending insurance companies against claims of breach of contract, bad faith, fraud, unfair business practices, and contribution, during which time she gained significant trial experience throughout California. She consistently achieved favorable results for her clients through settlement and at trial.
Ms. McClain is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and American Association of Justice (AAJ). She is also a member of San Diego chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and former co-chair of its Leadership Development Committee.
Ms. McClain graduated from California Western School of Law, where she earned the Distinguished Advocate award for excellence in oral advocacy. She also earned two Academic Achievement awards for her exceptional legal writing skills and was presented with the Wiley M. Manuel Honors Society Award for her commitment to providing pro bono legal services. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has been practicing law for 11 years.
