ACTS attorneys Terry Bailey, Brianna Franco, John Ramey, & Miriam Kohansedgh represented the HOA of a large Los Angeles condominium complex against the developer for construction defects. The parties engaged in SB-800 (Right to Repair Act) pre-litigation procedure consisting of multiple inspections, extensive expert participation and mediation sessions. ACTS, on behalf of the HOA, initiated arbitration proceedings, which is no longer necessary thanks to the successful mediation-based resolution. As a result of this settlement, the HOA will now be able to make the essential repairs needed to help their community flourish.
