ACTS Law is pleased to announce a landmark judgment by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The decision mandates a restitution of $53,189,261.80 to the Trustee of the Alliance of American Football (AAF), in addition to a global forfeiture of $740,000,000. The landmark decision followed an exhaustive pursuit of justice, which began in 2019 after the abrupt shutdown of the AAF. The ACTS Law team were able to prove that, despite the AAF being in bankruptcy, it was a direct victim of illicit funding by Reggie Fowler, former minority owner of the Minnesota Vikings.
