We are pleased to announce that our firm obtained a $7 million dollar settlement of a construction defect action. Our clients are 31 individual homeowners in a luxury development in Riverside County. The homeowners alleged that their homes suffered from construction defects, including extensive and significant stucco cracking, improper roof installation, improper window installation, failing retaining and site walls and miscellaneous additional defects throughout the homes. The parties used a modified SB800 pre-litigation procedure and multiple sessions of mediation to reach the settlement after close to two years of extensive inspections, testing and expert battles. Our clients will now be able to repair their homes and enjoy their community for years to come.
