Las Vegas Police Limit Neck Restraint Use as Tashii Farmer Trial Approaches

This week, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) announced it has revised its use of force policy to limit the use of neck restraints. A wrongful death lawsuit is pending, seeking justice for Tashii Farmer (a.k.a. Tashii Brown), an unarmed black man who was killed by an LVMPD officer as a result of a lethal neck restraint applied.

ACTS Law is representing Tashii’s family in the civil lawsuit.
